Dimensions and weights are subject to change due to ongoing technical development, and vary from country to country.
Standard Equipment
With sturdy tine arm mountings and "HIT-FIX" or "HEAVY-DUTY" tine security system
Standard equipment:
Mounting:
3-point-linkage Cat. II
P.T.O.:
P.T.O drive shaft with overload protection
Transport:
outer rotor can be raised and additionally turned inwards hydrocomfort = hydraulically lifting of outer rotors standard from HIT 470 onwards
Rotors:
tilting axles for fenceline tedding and rotor angle adjustment system on N-types
Tines:
asymmetric tines tine security system "HEAVY-DUTY" from HIT 470 N on
Hydraulic Connections:
1 single acting valve for outer rotor raising
Further:
safety guard; HIT 610, 690, 810 with warning signs
HIT-Tech double ankles
Robust double universal joint transmission has freedom of movement in every position. Dust-tight needle bearings. Even when raised rotors are free to rotate. Totally safe against errors in operation.
Heavy-duty transmission - large diameter shafts, heavy-duty gears and long-life constant velocity joints.
EUROHIT 910 tedders
Powerful coupling - Efficient power transmission to the outer rotors. Large diameter coupling segments and strong fingers for optimum power transmission. Can be pivoted through 180°.
Detail
Solid frame joints with replaceable bushes.
HD (heavy duty) tines
The newly-developed generation of Pöttinger tines guarantees an even longer service life. The cost-benefit ratio is ideal for the customer. The tines do not need to be replaced so frequently.
The new, specially-shaped support allows the tine to move more freely for a longer service life.
An integrated tine security system stops metal entering the forage and protects machinery during subsequent passes.
A HIT
Double stability Each rotor is equipped with an additional support disc. This ensures stable tine carrier arm mountings. Tine carrier arms made of flat bar. Each bolt remains tight, no loosening.
Rugged tubular framework is securely pressed and locked fast to the cast housings - no welded seams to cause distortion.
Mounting variations A / H / N
Example trailed machine EUROHIT 690 AZ
Example H rigid headstock EUROHIT 470 H
Example N pivoting headstock Pivoting headstock for unrestricted cornering. The tedder faithfully follows in the tractor's tracks.
The tedder moves automatically into the centre position when raised.
The tedder is guaranteed not to under-run going downhill, and the best quality of tedding provided.
Double-acting shock absorbers - effective absorption in both directions, adjustable, standard on EUROHIT 690 N, 690 NZ, 800 NZ and 910 NZ. Optional equipment on EUROHIT 470 N, 540 N and 580 NZ (varies from country to country).
The struts stabilise the machine when it is lifted and during transport on the road.

Heavy-duty transmission - large diameter shafts, heavy-duty gears and long-life constant velocity joints.
The tine carriers are secured between the rotor plate and the support disc for maximum support.
Rotor angle adjustment - all models of HIT can be adjusted to match all crop types and quantities.
Large floatation tyres for smooth running even on rough ground - do not sink in on wet ground. All HIT tedders have PR 6 tyres. Anti-wrap guards on all wheels as standard protect the wheels against long, heavy crops and wet conditions.
Hydraulics for lifting the outer rotors - standard.
Wide at work, but narrow for transport and parking
The outer rotors can be raised, and on models up to HIT 540 turned inwards to save even more space.
A Hit
Additional jockey wheel can be height-adjusted without the use of tools.
Interlock (N-Types) for road transport automatic relocation of pin prevents freedom of movement when raised.
